WeWine helps you discover your wine and connect with people through it. This page explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have.
Who we are
WeWine is a wine social network launching in Valencia, Spain. For anything about your data, write to legal@wewine.app.
What we collect
Your account (email address and sign-in method), your quiz answers and the taste profile built from them, and what you choose to add: photos you scan, reviews, messages and the people you connect with. We also keep the technical data needed to keep the service secure.
How we use it
To build your taste profile, recommend wines and places, compare tastes with the friends you choose, keep the community safe and run the service. We don't sell your data and we don't use third-party trackers.
AI features
Scanning, pairing, taste explanations, message safety checks and the AI sommeliers use Google Gemini, Google's AI service, through Google Cloud. We ask your permission before anything of yours is sent to it, and you can change your mind in Settings at any time.
How long we keep it
Guest quiz answers for 30 days, scan photos for 7 days, and your account data until you delete your account. Deleting your account also deletes your sommelier conversations.
Your rights
You can access, export, correct and delete your data at any time, and object to its use. You can also complain to the Spanish data protection authority (AEPD).
